Research Focus
Andrew McQuillin is Professor of Molecular Psychiatry in the Division of Psychiatry at UCL where he directs the UCL Molecular Psychiatry Laboratory. He has a long standing interest in the genetic underpinning of susceptibility to the psychoses and mood disorders. He has been coordinating the collection and analysis of data from large clinical cohorts of deeply phenotyped individuals suffering from bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, alcohol dependence, and adults with learning disability and comorbid mental illness.
